About Me
My name is Tobias. I'm an artist living in the United States. I am self taught; the only classes I've taken were high school art and tutorials on Youtube, and I'm always looking to improve myself. I thrive among my circle of artist and writer friends.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Gender and Women's studies. Currently I'm both a freelance illustrator and an editor, and I work with academic writing as well as fiction. My dream is to be a full time editor of genre fiction, or to improve my art skills enough to be a storyboard or comic book artist.
Editing Services
All services are offered with a flat rate for the first 2-3 pages, and per page rates for subsequent pages. Page standards are 12pt Times New Roman font with default margins. Rates are negotiable based on pacing and deadlines. Please contact me for further details.
Substantive Editing | $15 flat rate + $5/pg
If you need cosmetic changes, or help with grammar, style, formatting, and accuracy, this is the service you'll want. Substantive editing includes proofreading and copy editing. I can make sure things flow well, that the pacing is appropriate, and make sure that there aren't any inconsistencies -- as well as restructure and make corrections where necessary. We'll work together on deciding the level of editing you want (light, medium, heavy), what kind of critique you'd like, as well as how you want me to denote the changes.
Content Editing | $20 flat rate + $7/pg
Content editing is for those who need much more involved and intensive work done on their writing, including if your writing is unfinished and needs content written or re-written. Content creation as well as substantive editing is included in content editing, as well as overall evaluation of a manuscript, help with research and fact checking, and development of concept(s).
